Briefly describe you/your background?
I grew up in Pietermaritzburg in KwaZulu-Natal and studied in Durban, Pretoria and England. I have worked as a radio and television reporter, current affairs presenter, producer and journalism lecturer.
What’s your favourite day of the week and why?
Monday because a start of a new week means a start of new things as well.
Your Favourite weekend hang out?
Johannesburg has so many hangouts and I always love discovering new hangouts whether in Maboneng, Braamfontein, Parkhurst, Greenside and other places.
What is your favourite form of relaxing?
Sitting in the house and listening to music or reading a good book.
What makes you laugh/smile?
It doesn’t take a lot to make me laugh.
What is your favourite tourism destination?
Mozambique and Tanzania.
What or who inspires you?
People who are working hard to improve their circumstances inspire me.
What does it mean to you to be a part of Channel Africa in this era?
It means I can truly celebrate the rise of the African continent.
How do you describe your on-air personality?
Relaxed and I hope it feels the same when the listener is tuned in.
Your most memorable radio moment?
I have too many to mention.
Any other passions besides Radio?
Yes. I love education and television production.
Do you have any phobias?
I am petrified of snates.
