SENER a global engineering and technology company, has been working in South Africa in the renewable energy sector with the construction of solar thermal power plants equipped with molten salt storage that allows four to five hours of thermal energy storage. Siyabonga Mbanjwa, the company's Regional Director for Southern Africa says his company use concentrated solar power as renewable energy feeding into the national greed on turnkey project such as the Kathu Solar Park.
