The African Union (AU) has appointed Kenyan veteran opposition leader, Raila Odinga, as High Representative for Infrastructure Development in Africa.

The appointment will see Odinga working to support and strengthen the AU's Development Planning Department. The question posed by ordinary Kenyans and politicians is whether or not Odinga has quit active politics in the East African nation.
