Zimbawe to review Climate Change and Human Development policy in conjuction with United Nations agencies
Zimbabwe, in conjunction with United Nations agencies, is this Monday reviewing the 2017 Human Development Report aimed at mitigating the effects of climate change.
The Southern African nation launched its Climate Change and Human Development policy earlier this year, following devastating droughts and floods that ravaged the country over the past decade.
Zimbabwe faces food and nutrition challenges, the major ones being chronic malnutrition and micro-nutrient deficiencies, resulting in increased disease outbreaks such as malaria, diarrhea, tetanus, asthma and many more.
