Lesotho Prime Minister Pakalitha Mosisili says recommendations of the SADC Commission of Inquiry, that include removing army commander Liutenant General Tlali Kamoli are not binding orders. Mosisili finally made his statement to a National Assembly void of opposition MPs. They had walked out in solidarity with 4 other MPs who were suspended by the speaker for a week, for being unruly. Despite opposition claims, Mosisili says he has not expunged sections of the report, but he has removed the names of people that the commission wanted to publish to give them a fair opportunity to defend themselves.
