Following the watershed elections on July 30, the election result dispute between the ruling Zanu-PF and the main opposition, the Movement for Democratic Change (MDC)-T, is escalating.
Few days after the elections some violent clashes between alleged MDC-T youths and the military erupted leading to the death of at least six people.Nelson Chamisa, leader of the main opposition, is claiming victory while Mnangagwa’s MDC was declared winner of the 2018 polls.
Meanwhile, Mnangagwa is courting Chamisa in what experts says could be a way of uniting through Government of National Unity.
