[ON AIR] CAF have officially overturned the AFCON final result. Senegal have been ruled to have forfeited the match, with Morocco awarded a 3–0 victory.
CAF Appeals Committee says the conduct of Senegal fell under Article 82 and 84 of the African Cup of Nations regulations.
The Senegalese... Football Federation has denounced CAF's decision saying its unfair, unprecedented, and unacceptable which discredits African Football.
To defend its rights and interests, Senegal says will initiate an appeal as soon as possible before the Court of Arbitration for Sport in Lausanne.
