Malawi opposition boycotts parliament sitting

Malawi opposition members of parliament have boycotted the current sitting for two days in a bid to pressure government to table the electoral reforms bill.

The opposition, backed by religious groups and human rights activists, feels government does not want to table the bill despite agreement to do so before the sitting.
