SADeC chair and SA Defence minister meet amidst Lesotho instability

SADeC chair and Zimbabwe president Robert Mugabe has met with South Africa’s president Jacob Zuma's special envoy amidst concerns of further instability in Lesotho.

South Africa’s Defence minister, Nosiviwe Mapisa-Nqakula met with president Mugabe in Harare, to voice president Zuma's concerns on the crisis. Mapisa-Nqakula will now proceed to Botswana to brief president Ian Khama, SADeC's deputy chair ahead of weekend Troika to review a report from the fact finding mission on Lesotho.  
Three leaders including the main opposition and former Prime minister Tom Thabane have fled the country fearing for their lives. This after the army allegedly killed former defence commander  Maaparankoe Mahao, a key Thabane ally. Mapisa-Nqakula says details of her meeting with Mugabe are still to be discussed...
