Les Forces Armées de Côte d'Ivoire et les forces françaises mènent, depuis hier mardi 7 avril et ce jusqu' au 15 mai 2026, un exercice militaire conjoint, baptisé « Touraco 2026 », du 7 avril au 15 mai, dans plusieurs localités du pays.

Cette ...manœuvre qui s'inscrit dans le cadre du renforcement continu du partenariat militaire opérationnel entre Abidjan et Paris, permettra de renforcer les capacités opérationnelles de l'armée de l'air ivoirienne.

Selon le communiqué du chef d'état-major général des armées, Lassina Doumbia, les manœuvres mobiliseront des moyens terrestres et aériens importants, avec des mouvements d'aéronefs et de véhicules militaires.

[ON AIR] The United States and Iran have agreed to an immediate two-week ceasefire, narrowly averting a major escalation after US President Donald Trump warned that a "whole civilisation will die."

The truce, brokered by Pakistan, sets the stage for formal talks between ...delegations from both countries, scheduled to begin in Islamabad on Friday, 10 April.

During the ceasefire, Iran's military has stated it will coordinate the safe passage of vessels through the strategically critical Strait of Hormuz.
