TB conference in SA tackles disease challenges
The significant challenges in diagnosing Tuberculosis in people with HIV have come under the microscope as discussions continue at the fifth South African TB conference underway in South Africa's city of Durban.
The four-day-event has attracted health delegates from various backgrounds in Southern Africa. Studies show that tuberculosis remains one of the top killer diseases globally.
In South Africa alone, the lung disease remains a major health burden with scores of people who are still undiagnosed and untreated.
