AU expresses concern over use of force in Malawi
The African Union-Southern Africa Office has expressed concern over reports that the Malawi Police use force in dispersing peaceful protesting supporters of opposition political parties.
The concern comes few days after the situation got out of hand in the administrative capital Lilongwe.
The opposition want the May 21 Presidential results nullified following suspected irregularities despite the Malawi Electoral Commission declaring Peter Mutharika winner of the presidential elections.
