Information provided by the National Meteorological Institute (INAM) indicates that the system, which until Saturday was already in Madagascar, is in the Mozambique Channel. It will gradually enter the coast through the province of Nampula, precisely in Angoche, on the 24th, and will be felt until the 27th.
Zambezia may be the most affected province because of the Licungo river which is one meter below the alert and the forecasted rainfall may create an overflow situation, according to Agostinho Vilanculos, head of the Hydrographic Basins Management Department of the National Institute of Water Resources Management.
