Mthethwa was found dead outside the Hyatt Regency hotel in Paris on Tuesday.
He joined the National Assembly in 2002 as an African National Congress Member of Parliament and served in multiple ministerial portfolios between 2008 and 2023.
He was then appointed as SA ambassador to France in December 2023.
Didiza says Mthethwa worked tirelessly to serve SA.
