Preparations underway to repatriate late SA Ambassador Mthethwa 

The family of the late South African (SA) Ambassador to France, Nathi Mthethwa, says if the scheduled repatriation of their loved one is a success, he will be buried this Sunday.

The family is calling for clarity and answers surrounding Mthethwa’s death as his body is expected to be returned to SA.

The 58-year-old Mthethwa, died after falling from the 22nd floor of the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Paris last week Tuesday.

Family representative is Khulekani Mthethwa: “At the moment there are still many unanswered questions surrounding his untimely passing, but they do hope once the police deployed by the SA Police Services go and investigate this particular situation left the country then they are hopeful there will be closure.

They are still seeking answers as the family and in terms of repatriation processes the family says it’s quite hopeful that by the weekend all those processes would have been concluded for Mthethwa to be laid to rest this coming weekend.
