Under Ngarambe’s guidance, the FRVB continues to strengthen its financial base through partnerships with local and international organisations, including potential support from the International Volleyball Federation. Recently, the European Union affiliated EUCL committed $3 400 annually over three years to support volleyball development in Rwanda.
In a move aimed at enhancing competition and motivation, Ngarambe has proposed increasing league champions’ prize money from $1 300 to $7 000. The federation is actively pursuing additional partnerships and exploring new funding avenues to elevate the sport’s profile and sustainability in the country.
“Our goal is to create a vibrant and competitive volleyball environment in Rwanda, ensuring both players and clubs benefit from sustainable growth,” Ngarambe said.
