Pope Leo calls on youth to build more humane world during Jubilee gathering

The event marks the culmination of the Jubilee of Youth, a major Catholic celebration held once every 25 years.

On the eve of the mass, Pope Leo joined an open-air vigil celebration where he addressed the young pilgrims, urging them to reflect on their lives and commit to building a just and compassionate world.

“If you truly want to encounter the risen Lord, then listen to his word, which is the gospel of salvation. Reflect on your way of living. Seek justice in order to build a more humane world. Serve the poor and so bear witness to the good that we would always like to receive from our neighbours,” the Pope said.
