SA Crime Detection boss under investigation for corruption

This is indicated by the search and seizure warrant presented to Sibiya by police who raided his home in Centurion, Johannesburg on Thursday. The officers confiscated cellphones, laptops as well other electronic devices. Sibiya’s lawyer Ian Levitt says they will thoroughly study the warrant before they make any decisions to challenge it legally.
“What they did is that they gave us the search and seizure warrant it was about 4, 5 or 6 pages there but it was essentially about investigations into alleged defeating the ends of justice and things that have been in the media, there is nothing new, money laundering, corruption and all those charges, everything they could find,” he said.
