Sheppard Tivenge, from Zimbabwe, was speaking from the scene of the crash. He was coming from the Elim and Louis Trichardt hospitals to search for his sister who was among the passengers. He says he is now going to Siloam hospital in Nzhelele as he did not find her at the two hospitals he visited. Several passengers were critically injured and they have been taken to various hospitals in the Vhembe district. Tivenge says the search for his sister continues.
“We went to hospital of course what we saw at the hospital is terrible the injured I didn’t find my sister there were only three who were better I managed to talk to them I did not find my sister they show us one who pass away there at the hospital so I don’t know if I’m going to win today or whatever I don’t know,” Tivenge said.
