South African (SA) President Cyril Ramaphosa has held talks with Swiss President Karin Keller-Sutter in Bern, praising Switzerland’s support for SA’s drive for inclusive growth amid ongoing global economic challenges.
The meeting is part of Ramaphosa’s diplomatic tour to boost trade and investment. Switzerland is the fourth stop on the trip, following visits to Vietnam, Indonesia, and Malaysia, where he received an honorary doctorate in International Relations.
The leaders discussed ways to expand economic co-operation, promote innovation, and collaborate on areas such as climate resilience and skills development.
