The meeting addressed the IOC’s recommendations related to the visa issue involving Israeli athletes ahead of the 53rd Artistic Gymnastics World Championships Jakarta 2025.

Led by NOC Indonesia President Raja Sapta Oktohari, the delegation presented a clear and diplomatic explanation of Indonesia’s situation, covering government policy, social context, and security guarantees for all participants.

The discussion was well received by the IOC, resulting in a positive breakthrough that reopened communication and cooperation between both sides.

Both parties agreed to continue dialogue and evaluation to strengthen cooperation and ensure Indonesia remains an active and respected part of the Olympic Movement.
