The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has opened a tender process for the media rights to its Interclub Competitions for the 2025/26 season, including the TotalEnergies CAF Champions League and the TotalEnergies CAF Confederation Cup.
The tender, which also covers the 2026 TotalEnergies CAF Super Cup and the CAF Women’s Champions League, will close on Monday, November 10.
CAF says the move follows strong audience growth across the continent. The Interclub Competitions saw a 35% rise in television viewership in Sub-Saharan Africa last season, with North Africa and the MENA region also recording more than 40% audience growth.
The surge in viewership, particularly from Southern and East Africa, has driven a sharp increase in demand for CAF media and sponsorship rights. The new tender will cover English-speaking markets in Sub-Saharan Africa as well as other international territories.
