It is almost five months since the former Zambian President, Edgar Lungu died in South Africa (SA).
His body is still at the funeral parlour in the country.
This is due to the legal battle between the government of Zambia and the family of Lungu.
However, this matter will soon be resolved.
The family of Lungu want a private funeral in SA, while the government of Zambia want to accord Lungu a state funeral in Lusaka as per government policy.
This matter that is now in court in Pretoria, Gauteng Province, is likely going to be resolved in the coming days.
The government of Zambia is expected to make an announcement that the case will no longer continue and will give Lungu’s family a chance to decide on what will happen to the burial of the former Zambian President.
