The President of Tanzania Samia Suluhu Hassan is yet to announce her cabinet.
This after the country’s Electoral Commission declared her as the winner of the Presidential elections.
However, the opposition, that called for a boycott of the elections, has indicated that it will not recognise her presidency.
The Electoral Commission in Tanzania declared that the Chama Cha Mapinduzi party won the recent elections with an absolute majority.
However, the elections were marred by protests, and the opposition boycotted the polls.
The swearing in Members of Parliament this week, will pave the way for the President to elect a cabinet.
The new cabinet is expected to embark on a charm offensive to try and restore calm and stability to the country.
