The Ad Hoc committee set up by the South African (SA) Parliament has taken a unanimous decision not to continue with the testimony of the Chief of Staff of the Police Ministry, Cedrick Nkabinde

He was appearing before the committee that is looking into allegations of criminal infiltration, corruption and political interference in the justice system.

Nkabinde had trouble providing clarity to the committee on the sequence of events when he made contact with controversial North West businessperson, Brown Mogotsi. Several MPs said Nkabinde’s statement before them was misleading and therefore unacceptable.
