Real action is needed to support people battling serious health conditions such as cancer. That’s according to Head of Communications at Roche South Africa, Gugulethu Makhubo.
She says the integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI), telemedicine, and digital health platforms not only saves lives but also unlocks billions of Dollars in economic value.
In the clip, Makhubo says: “The digital tools and smart health technology partnerships are the key to transforming healthcare in Africa, given the complexities of all the different markets and the constraint on resources. For example, through a partnership as well as digital tools, we can dramatically improve survival rates for diseases like breast cancer, as well as unlock billions in economic savings.”
