South Africa’s (SA) Women’s Sevens team maintained their unbeaten record at the Rugby Africa Women’s Sevens Cup by defeating Kenya 22-0 in the 2025 final, completing a flawless campaign in which they did not concede a single point throughout the tournament.
After overpowering Ghana 48-0 in the quarter-finals and sweeping aside Madagascar 29-0 in the semi-finals earlier on Sunday, SA carried strong momentum into the final against Kenya, who themselves had outplayed Uganda to reach the title match.
The victory also confirms that the Springbok Women have qualified for the eight-team Division Three competition, which will be staged as a standalone Challenger event in Dubai in January.
