South African (SA) President Cyril Ramaphosa has confirmed that the United States (US) has reversed its earlier position and will now participate in the upcoming G20 Leaders’ Summit.
Ramaphosa made the announcement this Thursday during the South Africa–European Union meeting in Sandton, where he described Washington’s decision as an important development for global cooperation.
He said the US’s renewed commitment would strengthen discussions at the summit, which is set to focus on economic recovery, energy transition, and geopolitical stability.
