Border Management Authority says all ports of entry across SA remain stable
The Border Management Authority (BMA) says all ports of entry across South Africa (SA) remain stable and incident-free, as delegations continue to arrive for the G20 Summit.
BMA Commissioner, Doctor Michael Masiapato says Heads of State, senior government officials, and various high level teams have been landing in the country in the past 24 hours without disruptions.
Arrivals already processed include European Union President Ursula von der Leyen, Australian Prime Minister Antony Albanese, Malaysian President Anwar Ibrahim, the President of the European Council António Costa, Vietnam’s Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, China’s Premier Li Qiang, and United Kingdom Prime Minister Keir Starmer, among others.
More delegations are expected to arrive throughout the day.
