Speaking to members of the media on the sidelines of the summit at the Nasrec Expo Centre in Johannesburg, Macron said the event marked a moment in global politics.

“The first G20 summit in our history on the African continent. It’s a great achievement and I think SA can be proud of this achievement.

Second, where the African Union has a seat which is very important and great achievement as well of Africa as a whole of Africa being part of this nation and decide for the future,” he said.
