Gauteng Province Premier Panyaza Lesufi has extended his administration’s gratitude to South African President Cyril Ramaphosa for entrusting the province to host the G20 Leaders’ Summit over the weekend.
Briefing the media on the logistics behind the successful two day gathering at the Nasrec Expo Centre in Johannesburg, Lesufi praised the co-ordination that ensured smooth proceedings.
He also thanked motorists and the minibus taxi industry for their patience during the extensive road closures that began on Thursday as part of security measures for the global event.
