Multilateralism, climate action, and global peace efforts were among the key topics addressed at the 7th African Union (AU) and European Union (EU) Summit.
The summit, held earlier this week, brought together heads of state and government from AU and EU member states.
The meeting also underscored the shared sovereignty and justice principles of the two continents amid global conflicts.
Leaders from Africa and Europe convened in Lusaka, Angola, on Monday for a two-day summit aimed at deepening cooperation on climate action and multilateralism.
Among the attendees was United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres, who urged leaders to seize opportunities presented by Africa’s abundant renewable resources and critical minerals.
