Uganda national team Coach Paul Put has announced a 30-man provisional squad as the Cranes prepare for their first TotalEnergies CAF Africa Cup of Nations appearance since 2019. The group will later be trimmed to 28 players in line with CAF regulations.
The team is en route to Morocco for an 11-day training camp in Casablanca, where they will play two friendly matches before the final squad is confirmed.
Uganda have been drawn in Group C of the TotalEnergies CAF Africa Cup of Nations, Morocco 2025, alongside Nigeria, Tanzania and Tunisia.
Put has opted for a mix of experienced internationals and rising talents. He will be required to cut two players before submitting the final 28-man squad to CAF ahead of the tournament.
