Tanzanian government says it plans to hold talks with the United States
The Tanzanian government says it plans to hold talks with the United States (US) to address the partial travel restrictions imposed on its nationals by the Trump administration.
This after Tanzania was added to a growing list of countries this week whose nationals face restrictions in travelling and emigrating to the US.
The restrictions come into effect in January 1.

A statement by the Tanzanian Foreign Ministry indicates that the government intends to use diplomatic means to address the partial restrictions imposed on its citizens.

It indicates that it intends to engage in talks with the US to find a lasting solution to the issue.

The government claims that this action is a component of a larger plan to enhance ties with the US.

Recently, US Congress members were invited to Tanzania to explore ways of enhancing bilateral relations between the two nations.
