Zimbabwean coach, Marian Marinica, says he is satisfied with his team
Zimbabwean coach, Marian Marinica, says he is satisfied with his team’s efforts, after they lost a close opening encounter against Egypt in Agadir, Morocco, later on Tuesday, (17:00).
Mohamed Salah snatched a dramatic stoppage-time winner to give the north Africans a 2-1 win.
Botswana will be in action later today against 2021 champions, Senegal, in Tangier.

Zimbabwe drew first blood when Prince Dube found the back of the net in 20 minutes.

They held on to that lead for the rest of the first half, and the teams went into the break with Zimbabwe leading 1-0.

The Warriors played brilliantly to keep the Pharaos out, but Omar Marmoush pulled one back for Egypt after 63 minutes.

And then captain, Salah, broke Zimbabwean hearts with his effort on the 92th minute.
Zimbabwe next face Angola in Marrakech on Friday.
