They beat Botswana 3-NIL in a Group D encounter in Tanger.
Bayern Munich striker Nicolas Jackson scored a brace, while Cherif Ndiaye scored the other for the Teranga lions.
In the other Group D match, DR Congo overcame Benin 1-NIL in Rabat.
