It was absolute carnage on day one of the fourth Ashes test between Australia and England with 20 wickets tumbling in front of a record crowd at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG).
The highest number of wickets in a single day at the MCG since a record 25 fell in the 1902 Ashes test.
Australia who has already clinched the series to retain the Ashes, were put into bat and they were all back in the dressing room before tea.
Josh Tongue took a career-best five for 45 to skittle Australia for 152 on a grassy surface.
Michael Neser top scored for Australia before he too, was castled by Tongue for 35.
The constant loss of wickets was watched by a crowd of 93 442, eclipsing the stadium’s previous record for a day of cricket set at the 2015 World Cup final.
