Five accused in SA tavern mass shooting back in court

The five people who are accused of shooting nine patrons dead at a tavern in the South African (SA) province of Gauteng, will be back in the Westonaria Magistrate’s Court on Tuesday
The suspects who appeared in court on Monday have yet to apply for legal aid.
They face charges of murder, attempted murder, possession of unlicensed firearms, live ammunition and contravening the Immigration Act. One of the suspects has a previous conviction for attempted murder.
Meanwhile, the case against the tavern owner, Nanesi Matwa, has been adjourned to Wednesday. Matwa has been charged with operating with a fraudulent liquor license.
