Second body recovered from five swimmers swept away in SA

The second body of a group of five swimmers who were swept out to sea at main beach, at Pennington on the south coast of South Africa’s (SA) KwaZulu-Natal province,  has been recovered
Police rescue teams, the national sea rescue institute and lifeguards recovered one body and rescued another of the group on Thursday afternoon before the search was suspended in the early evening. Samantha Meyrick from IPSS Medical Rescue says the search for the other two missing swimmers was set to resume this morning.
“On Thursday evening IPSS medical rescue, NSRI and lifeguards responded to Pennington main beach where five swimmers were swept out to sea, By the end of Thursday night on person has bene sucessfully rescued and two bodies recovered. Two people remain missing. Police search and rescue, lifeguards and the NSRI will return to the beach this morning to continue the search,” she said.
