Learners have returned to classrooms in northern Nigeria, yesterday after schools were shut for nearly two- months due to security concerns
This comes as authorities deployed vigilante forces and civil defence personnel to protect against kidnapping threats.
Kaduna State Vigilance Service trucks were visible on roads leading to schools, with civil defence officers stationed at key points as part of enhanced security measures accompanying the reopening.
