Great Britain’s Katie Boulter has bowed out of the Australian Open after a straight-sets defeat to Belinda Bencic
World number 113thTH  Boulter, a late entry into the main draw, was overwhelmed in the opening set, losing 6 love  in just 26 minutes. She fought back in the second, breaking the Swiss 10th seed to level at 4-4, but Bencic held firm to seal a 6-0 7-5 victory. Bencic, a two-time major semi-finalist, now faces Czech teenager Nikola Bartunkova, who upset Daria Kasatkina in three sets.
