South African (SA) all-rounder, George Linde, say SA’s Proteas all-rounder looking forward to making mark at the T20 World Cup he is looking forward to making his mark at the T20 World Cup in India and Sri Lanka in February.
Linde was named player of the match in SA’s cricket national team, Proteas’ nine-wicket win over the West Indies in Paarl last night.
It was the first of three T20 matches against the tourists, which serves as crucial preparation for the World Cup.
The Proteas were in fine form in the first of three T20 Internationals against the Windies.
Linde was especially dangerous as SA limited the tourists to 173 for seven.
The left arm spinner took three wickets in total, two of which were in the final over of the Windies’ innings.
In reply, Lhuan-dre Pretorius hit 44 off 28 deliveries, and was the only batter to lose his wicket.
Together with Aiden Markram, the pair put on 83 runs for the first wicket.
