The South African men’s cricket team will get its 2026 International Cricket Council (ICC) T20 World Cup campaign underway in India on Monday afternoon.
The Proteas take on Canada in Ahmedabad in their opening Group D fixture.
According to Captain Aiden Markram they will be looking to start off the tournament strong and continue that momentum through to the play offs.
Runners up in the last edition of the Men’s T20 World Cup in the United States and the Caribbean two years ago, the Proteas have a pretty good idea of how to navigate a tournament like this.
