The family of slain e-hailing driver, Isaac Satlat, has commended the police for the swift arrests following his killing in the South African (SA) capital of Pretoria last week
The 22-year-old was allegedly murdered after responding to a trip request. His body and hijacked vehicle were later found abandoned in Atteridgeville. Dikeledi Mphahlele, Goitsione Machidi, and Maclaren Mushwana briefly appeared in the Pretoria Magistrates court on charges of premeditated murder and aggravating circumstances related to the killing. The trio abandoned their bail application and will return to court next week. Satlat’s uncle, Solomon Izang Ashoms says seeing the accused in court was triggering.

The video from the car helped a lot, we really want to thank the police for doing what they did,  sitting in court and watching the three suspects show up, makes you get angry that these three people decided to kill someone and take his (elongings). This is sad, but it is good that they appeared in court,” he said.
