Satlat was killed after responding to a trip request. His body and hijacked vehicle were later found abandoned in Atteridgeville, the capital of Pretoria.
The 22-year-old was strangled inside his vehicle in last week. His killing caused outrage after a video circulated on social media of him being murdered. On Monday, three accused, Dikeledi Mphahlele, Goitsione Machidi, and Maclaren Mushwana briefly appeared in the Pretoria Magistrates court facing charges of premeditated murder and robbery with aggravating circumstances. The trio abandoned their bail application and will return to court next week.
