A strike by Kenyan airport workers has been called off after the Kenya Aviation Workers Union (KAWU) reached an agreement with the Transport Ministry, the Nation Media Group reported this Tuesday.
The KAWU union went on strike on Monday in a labour dispute with the Kenya Civil Aviation Authority, causing major disruption at Nairobi’s Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, one of Africa’s busiest air transport hubs.
