The 39th African Union (AU) Summit of Heads of State and Government wrapped with leaders reaffirming commitments to peace and security across Africa.
Also advancing the AU reform agenda, strengthening the AU’s participation in the G20.
The leader also agreed on pursuing justice and reparations for people of African descent, and accelerating the implementation of Agenda 2063.
Delivering the outcome report to the media, AU Commission Chairperson Mahamoud Ali Youssouf said discussions centred on strategic priorities, including reports from assembly committees on Agenda 2063.
