The 21-year-old winger has reportedly attracted interest from teams in the United States (US), Europe, Israel, and Saudi Arabia. However, despite these rumours, no official offers have been made for him.

While his ideal move would be to play in one of Europe’s top five leagues, supporters feel he should be allowed to leave South Africa, even if it means playing in the US or Saudi Arabia.

Currently, Mofokeng’s market value is approximately $2 million. This could easily double if he has an impressive second half of the season and helps his team secure their first league title in over 14 years.

A strong performance at the FIFA World Cup could lead to clubs offering over  $6 million for him.
