The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has deployed a team of technical experts to Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda, the host nations for the next TotalEnergies Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).

The inspections, which began this week and will continue until February 17, are aimed at ensuring that the three countries meet CAF’s rigorous, world-class standards. Technical assessments will cover pitch quality, safety, security, and infrastructure readiness at key matches and training venues.

The spotlight on East Africa will continue with a visit to Tanzania by the CAF Executive Committee and President Dr Patrice Motsepe on Friday, highlighting the organisation’s commitment to delivering a smooth and professional tournament.
