Collin Morikawa, win the Pebble Beach Pro-Am in California.

A birdie at the last hole saw American, Collin Morikawa, win the Pebble Beach Pro-Am in California.

This was his first Professional Golfers’ Association Tour win in more than two years.

Morikawa was two ahead with two holes to play, when Australia’s Min Woo Lee birdied the 18th.
The American then bogeyed the penultimate hole himself, and the pair were locked at 21 under par.

But Morikawa avoided the play-off, with a birdie on the final hole to clinch the title and end his trophy drought.

Austrian Sepp Straka joined Lee on 21 under par for the tournament and a shared the second place.

Another American, world number one, Scottie Scheffler and England’s Tommy Fleetwood finished joint fourth on 20 under.
